SpeedOptions (“we,” “our”) is a daily sports trivia game available at speedoptions.app and as an iOS and Android app. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control or remove it.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account, we collect the email address and password you provide. Passwords are handled entirely by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are never visible to us in plain text.
- Gameplay data. Your answers, scores, streaks, tiers, badges, and group memberships, so we can show your stats, leaderboards, and history back to you.
- Push notification tokens. If you turn on reminders, we store a device token (a web push subscription in your browser, or an Apple/Google push token on iOS/Android) so we can deliver notifications. This is deleted immediately if you turn reminders off.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data, run third-party advertising, or use analytics/tracking SDKs that profile you across other apps or websites.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of service providers to run the app, each only for the purpose of operating it:
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
- Vercel — hosts the app and processes web traffic to run it.
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications on iOS and Android (Firebase relays iOS notifications through Apple Push Notification service).
Your controls
- Turn push reminders on or off anytime from your Profile page.
- Delete your account and all associated data anytime from the “Danger zone” section at the bottom of your Profile page. This is immediate and permanent — it also deletes any groups you created.
